Tom Asbury, President, Summit Roofing Services
With a suggestion from his brother and an offer from a new commercial roofing contractor, Tom began his career in the industry in 1973. He spent 17 years on the production side of the business as a roof mechanic and later as a superintendent. He then got involved in estimating, sales and sales management. In early 2001, he bought Summit Roofing Services and continues to enjoy the challenges of the ever changing industry.

Jim Kendall, Operations Manager
With a summer trip to Alaska in 1972, Jim started his roofing career in residential work. After spending 15 years as a roof mechanic and apprenticeship trainer in commercial and industrial roofing, he expanded his involvement in the industry, working as a waterproofing and roofing consultant, a project manager, and material manufacturer’s representative over the next 15 years. He joined Summit Roofing Services in 2001. |

Jose Ruiz, Purchasing and Safety Manager
Jose started his roofing career in 1986 with Bryant Organization. After working on the roofs in toasty 100+ temperatures, he was offered a position in the warehouse and eventually promoted to purchasing. 19 years and two companies later Summit Roofing Services is fortunate to have Jose Ruiz on board. |

Nancy Hutcheson, Office Manager
Nancy's career in the roofing industry began in 1983 as the office manager for Allstate Supply, a wholesale-distribution company. She then made a change from the wholesale to the contracting side when she went to work for the roofing contractor, Bryant Organization, in 1984. After nine years with Bryant, Nancy became the office manager for Summit Roofing Services in 1993. Her accounting expertise and knowledge of the industry make her a valuable asset to our company. |
